“ I'd read about this place online and was very interested in trying it out as I'm a big fan of lobster. It was closed on Sunday (not sure if that was due to the holiday, COVID, or the tail end of the weekend) but by Tuesday they were open again. It was *not* cheap (~US$80 p/p including our drinks), but boy was it ever worth it. The restaurant was empty on a Tuesday night, we had the entire place to ourselves. I was going to try this place by myself, but I ended up convincing two friends to come with me. I’m exceptionally glad they came, because it was about a 6-course meal. Absolutely nothing in the lobster went to waste. We split a ~2kg (4.5 lbs) lobster. I have never seen one so big before. While they were preparing the meal, after selecting the lobster, we had an unbelievable spread of appetizers. This included: Mashed sweet potato pate, tofu, fried buttered mushrooms, NZ mussels, broccoli, lettuce salad, seaweed salad, smoked salmon, fresh shrimp, octopus (I think - he just said shellfish). Additionally, at our request, half the lobster tail came out prepared as sashimi. This was the /appetizer/! Come hungry! When we had finally made room on the table for it, the lobster arrived. ½ steamed, ½ baked with butter (again, at our request). The chef showed us how best to eat it: taking small pieces, dipping them in sauce (sweet yoghurt, wasabi yoghurt, and a… spicy salsa verde?), then wrapping them in seaweed and eating it in one bite. Make-your-own sushi without the rice. He insisted we even eat the legs, as with a lobster this large there was substantial meat there. He taught our compatriot from Kansas how to use a lobster fork on the legs (the other two of us were from the US East Coast and were familiar). Before leaving with the empty shell, he further insisted we eat the meat from the tail fins and antennae (pulling it out himself to share). This thing was so large there was even substantial meat in the antennae! We were stuffed, but I knew another dish was coming. The chef had told us to please make sure we leave the body intact after eating... so he could use the remains to make a stellar fried rice with risotto! It was unbelievable. After working through as much of that as we could (and finishing our second bottle of soju) I got ready to ask for the check. Before I could though, the chef laid down a huge bowl of spicy ramen soup using any meat we’d left behind from the pre-rice courses (including cooking up any leftover sashimi)! The whole thing was phenomenal. I can’t wait to do it again. It kills me that there isn't anything like this back home. I may have to make more trips to Seoul just to come here! It's worth the quarantine! ”

“ Wonderfully delicious 4 course meal. The staff is very friendly, helpful and informative. Not crazy about the icy salmon but its a Korean thing. The lobsters are super tasty and so is everything else, will definitely go there again. ”

“ Amazing food, first time eating lobster and I will never forget. Started with multiple tasty starters followed by the lobster and the waiter showed us different ways to eat it with the sides…. After finishing the lobster we thought we were done and then the waiter came back with lobster noodle soup it was truly amazing and also another dish of a sort of rice not sure how to describe but I loved it… I extremely recommend this place ”

“ THE BEST DINNER EVER!!! This is totally worth it! The owner is very nice, showed us how to eat everything. Every single side dish is delicious and cooked to perfection. The dishes never stop coming! I’ve never experienced lobster this way - from sashimi, to steamed, to ramen and fried rice! Chef used all parts of the lobster and created masterpiece from each part. Totally worth it! Would come back here definitely!!!! This restaurant is worth a Michelin star. You won’t regret coming here. A bit pricey but totally worth it!!! ”
